The 1920 X 1200 resolution WUXGA screen on Dell Inspiron 1720 works like charm. You will not find any noticeable problem like dead pixels or backlight bleeding with the screen. Its fun to have this screen with sharp picture quality and a wide array of viewing angles. A range of backlight adjustments make working convenient, whatever be the lighting in the workplace. You will find it equally comfortable in a dim lit room as well as a brightly lit area.

Speaker is just not the discerning parameter for buying a laptop with all the current models available in the market.
