Hi, I am Eric, editor of this informative site on refurbished laptops. It’s been a passion filled journey for me and my team, starting from the day we thought about making a site on refurbished laptops to this date when we are smoothly sailing ahead providing good content to our valued visitors.

I am a mechanical engineer by education and profession. I worked as a stress analysis engineer for one of the most reputed companies in India. Next time you fly in a Boeing-777 passenger plane, you might be on the floor whose beam has been analyzed by me.

While working with that organization I came across the CCD department which was responsible for procuring and maintaining hardware for the company. There I came to know about laptop purchasing and laptop leasing. My company used to lease laptops from the manufacturer for a certain period of time and once the term was over the manufacturer took the machines back. That gave my company the option of upgrading to latest technology without really wondering about disposing old laptops.

I was pretty sure that those old machines might not be good to run Abaqus, but they were very efficient in running simple applications, web surfing, e-mailing and word processing which most of us do. My thought was bolstered when I discovered that the same laptops were being sold as refurbished laptops at a fraction of the actual price.

That’s when I decided to start a site to inform people about refurbished laptops and how they could save a lot of money with them depending on their requirements. Because I know most of us do not run high end applications on our notebooks. Most of us use it for preparing spreadsheets, presentations and word documents apart from web browsing and emailing. I want people to know that they can do all this at a much lesser initial investment.
