X60 is the latest addition to Lenovo's ThinkPad series. A tablet PC with ultra portable computing features; it surely is a perfect addition to the brand's fine selection of versatile notebook versions.

Crafted to be a fully-engineered tablet notebook, the new ThinkPad X60 is packed with modern and innovative computing features that redefine what tablet notebooks are all about. X60 has a XGA 1024x768 screen resolution, which delivers an output resolution of up to 2048x1536 via monitor out. Graphics are provided by Intel Media Accelerator 950. A PCMCIA Type II slot and SD memory card slot are located on the left side with an expansion slot or docking station located at the bottom.

Hardware extensions include 3 USB 2.0 Ports (1 on the left and 2 on the sight side), a Fire Wire Port, a Monitor out port, Ethernet LAN Port, Modem port, a microphone, headphone line-out and a Power jack.

In addition, Lenovo X60 is built with excellent hardware and software security. RAM is 512 MB with DDR2 SDRAM-667 MHz a value that boasts a maximum RAM configuration of 2 GB. Its 8-cell, 5-hour extended battery life is certainly a bonus for outdoor applications.

While many would say that Lenovo X60 is the "new" and improved version of ThinkPad X41, it is certainly an updated version of the ThinkPad X32.
